When "Chaise Longue" turned Wet Leg into an overnight sensation in 2021, the easy bet was that they were a one-joke wonder. moisturizer, released in July 2025 on Domino, is the sound of a band demolishing that idea. Now a fully-fledged Isle of Wight five-piece, with founders Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers joined by Ellis Durand, Henry Holmes, and Joshua Mobaraki as full members, Wet Leg poured years of relentless touring into a record that hits harder, tighter, and far more self-assured than anyone had a right to expect.

Written in a creative frenzy while holed up in a remote countryside house, the album trades arch detachment for something feral and all-in, diving headfirst into obsession and all-consuming love. Lead single "Catch These Fists" swings with real menace, while "CPR" and "Davina McCall" pair brash guitars and heavy beats with the same quick, deadpan wit that made the debut so addictive. Producer Dan Carey keeps it raw and physical, Alan Moulder's mix gives the guitars teeth, and the whole thing captures the electrifying live force the band has become.
