Turnstile spent the last decade blurring the line between hardcore and just about everything else, and Never Enough is the album where that blur becomes the whole point. Released in June 2025 on Roadrunner Records, it's the band's fourth studio album and the first to feature guitarist Meg Mills, following founding member Brady Ebert's 2022 departure. Rather than settle into a sound, Turnstile keeps pushing outward, and this record covers more ground than anything they've made before.
Recorded between Los Angeles and the band's homes in Baltimore and produced by frontman Brendan Yates, the album moves fluidly between pummeling riffs, gauzy shoegaze textures, and pop hooks without ever feeling like a band hedging its bets. Lead single "Never Enough" and the paired "Seein' Stars" and "Birds" set the tone early, and across fourteen tracks and 45 minutes, songs like "Dull," "Slowdive," and "Sunshower" keep finding new corners of the band's genre-defying identity to explore.
The record was met with widespread critical acclaim and became Turnstile's highest-charting album to date in multiple countries, further evidence that the band's refusal to stay in one lane has only grown its audience. A companion visual album premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival, underscoring just how much ambition went into this project. It's a fearless, restless statement from a band that keeps proving why it's one of the most influential acts of its generation.
This LP pressing brings that expansive, genre-hopping sequence home on wax, the ideal format for a record built to be experienced start to finish.
