Detroit's The Suicide Machines dropped their major-label debut in 1996 and immediately became a cornerstone of the '90s ska-punk explosion, fusing breakneck hardcore aggression with horn-driven upstroke and a snotty, no-bullshit attitude. "Hey" and "New Girl" turned into scene anthems, while cuts like "S.O.S." and "Break the Glass" show a band as comfortable pummeling as they are skanking.
This is the 30th anniversary remaster, freshly cut for the first time and pressed on Cherry Bomb Metallic Red vinyl in a gatefold jacket with a two-sided insert. Essential listening for anyone who came up on Op Ivy, Rancid, and the Bosstones.
