The Doors - 1966 (LP / Translucent Tan Vinyl)
On August 29, 1966, The Doors were at Sunset Sound recording what would become their debut album. This release opens a rare window onto that session, with the band working through "Moonlight Drive" and "Indian Summer," two songs that ultimately didn't make the record.
Multiple takes, false starts and studio chatter put you right in the room as a young band finds its sound, months before the world knew their name.
Pressed on translucent tan vinyl in a single pocket jacket with an insert for RSD Black Friday.
