Released in June 1987, Cleanse Fold and Manipulate is Skinny Puppy’s third studio album and one of their most politically charged. Expanding their abrasive industrial sound with even darker textures, the band tackled urgent topics like the AIDS crisis and post-traumatic stress disorder, channeling their outrage and anxiety into an intense sonic assault.
