Aurora Central Records proudly presents the first-ever vinyl edition of MASS, the haunting and hallucinatory release from composer, performer, and sound artist Sarah Belle Reid. Newly remastered and expanded with two additional tracks, MASS is available on black vinyl in a limited run of just 200 copies worldwide. Each LP includes a high-resolution digital download and a set of “Tempographical Maps” designed by Reid herself to guide and deepen the listening experience.

Originally released digitally in 2021, MASS is a shape-shifting work of electroacoustic experimentation, conjured from voice, trumpet, flugelhorn, household objects, and modular synthesis. Through shrill shrieks, corroded brass choirs, and whispering static, Reid crafts a surreal sonic terrain that evokes the eerie lineage of tape music, horror soundtracks, and avant-noise—from Daphne Oram to Naked City. The album’s dreamlike flow weaves together ritual, improvisation, and precision, channeling moments of beauty and dread in equal measure.

This expanded edition includes the tracks “Vessel” and “Sublimate,” composed specifically for the vinyl release, further unfolding the world of MASS into something even more immersive and unclassifiable.
