Released in 2001 on Lost Highway, Gravitational Forces finds Texas troubadour Robert Earl Keen leaning further into the folk-rock-country hybrid that made him a favorite of the Americana crowd, produced by longtime collaborator Gurf Morlix. Highlights include the rollicking road song "Hello New Orleans," a warm cover of Johnny Cash's "I Still Miss Someone," and the epic set-closer "The Road Goes On Forever."
