Primal Scream - 1987 EPs

In the mid-80s, before they redefined dance-rock with Screamadelica, Primal Scream were the torchbearers of a wistful, Byrds-influenced psychedelic pop sound. Following Bobby Gillespie’s departure from The Jesus and Mary Chain, the band released a series of tracks that defined the "C86" generation. The collection features the band's signature "jangly" originals alongside rare cover versions that highlight their 60s influences. Included are their takes on The Who's mod-anthem "So Sad About Us" and The Shadows of Knight’s garage-rock staple "I'm Gonna Make You Mine."
