The Linda Lindas started as four kids from Los Angeles who went viral in 2021 for "Racist, Sexist Boy," a two-minute blast of righteous fury filmed in their public library. Five years and two albums later, they arrive at Gotta Get Out sounding nothing like a novelty and everything like a band that grew up loud. Their third full-length is a record about breaking loose and figuring out who you are on the way out the door.
This is the widest sound the band has reached for yet. The signature Gen-Z punk snap is still here in short, sharp songs built for shouting along, but it now shares space with adventurous synth textures and bigger, more anthemic hooks. The title track and "Helado de Limón" lead the way across twelve songs that swing from restless and raw to flat-out catchy, with Bela Salazar, Lucia and Mila de la Garza, and Eloise Wong trading vocals like they've been doing this their whole lives, which, more or less, they have.
Gotta Get Out marks the band's debut for Reprise Records and lands as their most ambitious statement to date: the sound of a group fully coming into its own rather than living off an origin story. Where their earlier work announced them, this one shows what they can build.
This indie exclusive edition is pressed on eco mix colored vinyl and arrives August 28, 2026. A twelve-track leap forward from one of the most exciting young bands in punk, and a pre-order worth locking in early.
