Paramore - Riot! [Fueled By Ramen 25th Anniversary Edition]

In 2007, a young band from Franklin, Tennessee made the record that turned them from Warped Tour favorites into one of the biggest rock bands in the world. Riot!, Paramore's second album, was the breakthrough, and Hayley Williams' voice was suddenly everywhere.

Produced by David Bendeth, the album is a tight, relentless run of pop-punk anthems. "Misery Business" is the era-defining single, a snarling, sing-along blast that still fills dance floors at emo nights everywhere. "That's What You Get" and "crushcrushcrush" keep the hooks coming, while "Hallelujah" and "Let The Flames Begin" hint at the bigger, more ambitious band Paramore would become.

It remains one of the defining records of 2000s alternative rock, and the foundation for a career that eventually took the band to Grammy wins and arena tours.

This edition is part of Fueled By Ramen's 25th anniversary series, pressed on limited silver vinyl.
