Republic is the sixth studio album by English rock band New Order, released in 1993 by London Records. It marked their first release following the collapse of Factory Records and would be their last album for eight years. A commercial success, Republic reached No. 1 on the UK charts—New Order’s final album to do so—and earned a Mercury Music Prize nomination.

The album features the hit single “Regret,” the band’s last top-five UK single, along with standout tracks like “World,” “Spooky,” and “Ruined in a Day.” The band went on hiatus shortly after a performance at the Reading Festival in August 1993.
