Mon Laferte - Femme Fatale

Mon Laferte has spent a decade refusing to stay in one lane, moving between bolero, cumbia, garage rock, and torch balladry across a catalog that has made her one of the most decorated Latin artists of her generation. Femme Fatale, released in October 2025, gathers all of it into one record and makes the sprawl feel deliberate.

The title track opens on smoky orchestration before the album fans out. "Otra Noche De Llorar" is the heartbreak centerpiece, and "Esto Es Amor" brings in Conociendo Rusia for a duet with real chemistry. "La Tirana" pairs her with Nathy Peluso and is the most combustible three minutes here. "Veracruz" and "El Gran Señor" lean into the Mexican traditional forms she has been studying since relocating there, while "My One And Only Love" closes the second disc with a standard delivered straight, no irony attached.

Laferte sings like someone who came up in bars and never lost the habit of projecting to the back of the room. This is her most expansive record and the clearest showcase for a voice that can do almost anything asked of it.
