In 2024, a series of five timeless classics are being reissued on classy crystal clear vinyl in their original vintage design artwork—an absolute pleasure for rediscovering the classic electronic sound that helped define an era. Among them is this 12" compiling FRONT 242’s very first two-track singles, originally released in 1981 and 1982. Featuring founding members Dirk Bergen and Daniel B., these recordings set the stage for the band’s seminal debut album Geography.
These early singles became influential pillars in the development of industrial and EBM music throughout the '80s and beyond. Their raw, minimal electronics and stark rhythmic precision mark a pivotal moment in underground music history. This special reissue is part of a campaign that also includes a combo pack with Geography, a limited FRONT 242 tote bag (500 units worldwide), and the 25th edition of the Sounds From The Matrix CD compilation—featuring 19 tracks from Alfa Matrix and Spleen+ artists.
A rare chance to own these genre-defining tracks on high-quality vinyl—“always ahead!”
