Front 242 did not fade away. After more than four decades of defining electronic body music, the Belgian pioneers played a farewell tour of more than 40 shows across Europe and the United States, then brought it home for the final nights. Black Out captures those January 2025 performances at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, and it stands as the band's last live document.

Patrick Codenys, Jean-Luc De Meyer, and Richard23 are joined on stage by drummer Tim Kroker, and the setlist spans the entire catalog. "Headhunter," "Welcome To Paradise," "Punish Your Machine," "Quite Unusual," and "W.Y.H.I.W.Y.G." hit with the precision and physical force that made the band's live reputation, while "Generator," "Fix It," and "Hide And Seek" finally get an official release after being road-tested in concert over recent years. David Baboulis of SOLDOUT handled mixing and production in the studio.

As a farewell, it is exactly what fans would hope for: no nostalgia act and no half measures, just one of the founding bands of industrial dance music playing at full strength one last time on home soil.

This double CD digipak runs 23 tracks and includes three bonus tracks exclusive to the CD edition: "Masterhit," "Soul Manager," and "No Shuffle."
