Frank Sinatra - Ultimate Christmas

Frank Sinatra recorded Christmas music throughout his career, and Ultimate Christmas is the most complete way to hear it. This Capitol/UMe collection draws on his mature Capitol and Reprise years, when the voice had deepened and the arrangements had grown lush and confident, and it gathers twenty of his holiday performances into a single double LP.

The essentials are all here: "White Christmas," "Jingle Bells," "The Christmas Song," "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," sung with the effortless swing and immaculate phrasing that defined him. "The Christmas Waltz" and "Mistletoe and Holly" are Sinatra signatures, and the deeper cuts, including "Whatever Happened to Christmas," "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" and "The Bells of Christmas (Greensleeves)," reward listeners who think they already know his holiday work. "Christmas Memories" and a final "Silent Night" close the set on a quiet, reflective note.

For the Sinatra fan or anyone building a proper holiday record shelf, this is the definitive single collection.

This double LP presents twenty tracks across four sides of black vinyl.
