Description Tracklist

Philadelphia’s Flatwaves craft a haunting, immersive sound on Numbra — a haze of contemporary psychedelia and retro shoegaze that feels both timeless and otherworldly. Reverb-drenched guitars, cavernous vocals, and heavy backbeats swirl together into a dreamlike fog, equal parts beauty and unease.

This is music that disorients in the best way — drifting through the collective unconscious, like waking up in a desert motel with no idea how you got there. Or, as one show-goer perfectly put it: “Thank God I wasn’t on acid for that set.”
