Dallas Good + Richard Reed Parry - Were "The Watchtowers"

The Watchtowers captures the final recordings of Dallas Good of The Sadies, created in collaboration with Richard Reed Parry (or Arcade Fire) over the course of more than a decade. What began as a casual side project slowly took shape through occasional sessions, resulting in a deeply personal and organic album that reflects both artists’ shared love of cosmic, psychedelic Americana.

Featuring contributions from a wide circle of collaborators including Neko Case, Kurt Vile, Yo La Tengo, Jim Jarmusch, and others, the album carries a sense of community and tribute throughout. The closing track “Not in This World” brings together over 500 friends and fans in a moving final chorus, making it a powerful farewell. Pressed on white vinyl and limited to 1000 copies worldwide, this Record Store Day 2026 release stands as a heartfelt and lasting document of Dallas Good’s artistry.
