Angels & Airwaves - ...Of Nightmares [Indie Exclusive]

...Of Nightmares is the second chapter of the Poet Anderson project, the sprawling multimedia world Tom DeLonge built out of novels, animation, and music. Released in 2015 as a four song EP, it is one of the most focused things Angels & Airwaves has put out.

The lineup here is essentially DeLonge and Ilan Rubin, with Aaron Rubin producing, engineering, and mixing. "Home" opens with the kind of enormous, delay soaked guitar figure the band trades in, and "Into the Night" turns it into a proper hook. "View From Below" is the moodiest thing on the EP, and "Parasomnia" closes it out with a five minute build that earns the runtime. Tom Baker mastered.

Whatever you make of the extramusical mythology, the songs stand on their own. Twenty minutes of the band doing exactly what they do best without any filler around it.

This indie retail exclusive presses the EP on pink neon vinyl, single sided with side B etched, mastered at GZ Media and pressed in Canada. A striking limited run of a release that was digital only for years.
