The origin story alone is worth telling. Robbie Cunningham, Oisin McCaffrey, and Ross McNerney formed Amble in rural Western Ireland in late 2022, three friends who had quit their day jobs as school teachers and a data scientist to play music together. Their initial ambition, by their own admission, was modest: play cover songs in pubs and earn free pints. What followed has been anything but modest.

In just over two years, Amble have amassed over 100 million streams, sold out headline tours across the UK, Ireland, Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia, topped the Official UK Folk Albums Chart with Reverie, supported Hozier on a US tour, and confirmed upcoming stadium dates with Ed Sheeran in 2026. The rise has been as rapid as it has been genuine, built entirely on the quality of the songs and the power of the three of them playing together in a room.

Reverie, their debut album on Warner Records, is 14 tracks that capture exactly who Amble are. Recorded live in the studio, often in just one or two takes, the album features no-frills acoustic instrumentation, serene soundscapes, and the kind of natural three-part harmonies that stop you in your tracks. Fan favorites "Lonely Island," "Mary's Pub," and "Mariner Boy" sit alongside eight brand new tracks including the gorgeous "Schoolyard Days," "Swan Song," and "Little White Chapel." As Cunningham puts it simply: "If you listen to Reverie, you're truly hearing who we are."

This limited orange vinyl pressing is a repress of the sold-out original edition, timed to coincide with the band's upcoming UK tour. Do not sleep on it a second time.
