In 2013, Adrianne Lenker headed back to her hometown of Minneapolis to record ten acoustic tracks at Terrarium Studios with producer Rob Oesterlin. She describes it as “basically just like a live solo show, but with an added twist.” Mixed by her friend Andrew Sarlo (who later worked on Masterpiece and Capacity), the album came out in early 2014. Full of vivid imagery and deeply personal storytelling, it captures an artist exploring new ground with honesty and heart.
