ACTORS have released a steady run of singles and toured hard since 2021's Acts of Worship. Our Love Will Live Forever, the band's third full-length, is their most personal and resonant work to date, a focused record about mortality, love and the choice to keep moving forward.
Produced by frontman and songwriter Jason Corbett at Vancouver's Jacknife Sound, the album expands the band's signature blend of romantic post-punk and cinematic darkwave. Singles "Youth," "In Real Life" and "Object of Desire" sit alongside "CTRL," "Left On Read" and "Dead Inside," ten tracks in all, with Corbett, Shannon Hemmett, Kendall Wooding and Adam Fink locked in tight.
It plays as both a natural follow-up and a step forward: still built for the dancefloor, but weightier in its themes. Longtime fans and anyone who came in through the band's remixes and tours will find plenty here.
Presented on LP by Artoffact Records.
