GloRilla - Ehhthang Ehhthang

GloRilla arrived in 2022 with "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" and spent the next year fielding the same question everyone asks a rapper with one enormous song: what happens next? Ehhthang Ehhthang, released in April 2024, was the answer, and it was not close. Twelve tracks, thirty-three minutes, no filler, and a run of singles that carried her straight through the rest of the year.

"Yeah Glo!" opens on a crunk beat and a chant-along hook that turned into a full comeback statement, one of those songs that sounds like it was made to be shouted in a parking lot. "Wanna Be" pairs her with Megan Thee Stallion for what became one of the summer's biggest rap records. "All Dere" brings in CMG labelmate Moneybagg Yo and went gold on its own. Elsewhere Kevo Muney, Boston Richey, and Finesse2Tymes drop in, and the beats stay hard, cheap in the best way, and unmistakably Memphis. GloRilla's voice does most of the work regardless: a hoarse, church-trained bark that can flip from menacing to hilarious inside a single bar.

It debuted at number eighteen on the Billboard 200, went gold, and set up the debut album that followed six months later. As a bridge between viral moment and full-blown career, it is remarkably tight.

This Record Store Day Black Friday edition marks the title's first vinyl pressing, on neon yellow via Interscope. Limited quantities, as always.
