Zebra - Zebra V

Formed in New Orleans in 1975, Zebra have kept the same lineup of Randy Jackson, Felix Hanemann and Guy Gelso for half a century, a rarity in rock. To celebrate that 50th anniversary, the trio returns with Zebra V, their first new studio album since Zebra IV in 2003.

The band recorded the album at Jackson's and Gelso's home studios, with part of it helmed by producer Jack Douglas, who produced Zebra's self-titled debut and No Tellin' Lies. It was one of the last projects Douglas worked on before his passing. Jackson has said the record carries some of the spirit of 3.V, with the soaring vocals and intricate, progressive-leaning hard rock that made the band a cult favorite.

Lead single "Walk With You" is a song Jackson wrote with KISS's Paul Stanley decades ago, and "I'll Be There Beside You" is a classic rock ballad co-written with Skid Row's Snake Sabo and Rachel Bolan.

Eleven brand-new tracks on vinyl, from a band whose story is still moving forward.
