Five years passed between Noire and Electric Sun, and Ronan Harris used the time well. The band's eleventh studio album arrived in April 2023, recorded at the Anachron studio in Hamburg with Harris producing, writing every song, and handling the mix alongside Benjamin Lorenz. It reached number five on the German albums chart.

The title track opens things on a widescreen, cinematic pulse, and from there the record moves between floor-ready energy and something closer to reflection. "Before The Rain" and "Prophet" deliver the soaring melodies that have always been Harris's strength, "Run" and "Sunflare" push toward the album's emotional core, and "Under Sky" brings the whole arc down to a quiet landing. Across twelve songs and a little over an hour, the orchestral synth work and driving rhythms that defined futurepop are still front and center, delivered with the confidence of a band more than three decades into its run.

Positioned between 2018's Noire and 2025's Construct, it is the sound of a veteran band still finding new ground rather than repeating the old anthems.
