Originally released in 1997, Here Comes Cessation captures Thee Headcoatees at their most energetic. Formed from the circle around Billy Childish and Thee Headcoats, the all female lineup of Kyra Rubella, Holly Golightly, Ludella Black and Bongo Debbie quickly became a force of their own. Whenever Thee Headcoats performed, Thee Headcoatees played a set as well, and for a time they were even more popular than the main band.
