The Pandoras - Stop Pretending (40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) [RSD Black Friday 2026]

The Pandoras - Stop Pretending (40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) (2LP)

Stop Pretending is one of the defining albums of the '80s garage rock revival, capturing The Pandoras at their fiercest, all snarling punk energy and retro girl-group swagger. The lineup included future Muffs members Kim Shattuck and Melanie Vammen, whose songwriting chemistry would later help shape a new era of alternative rock.

For the 40th anniversary, original producer Bill Inglot has newly remastered the album from the best available sources for more punch and grit than ever. The real treasure is in the vault: a handpicked selection of previously unreleased bonus tracks, rare B-sides and lost recordings, curated by the band's remaining members.

This deluxe double LP comes in a gatefold sleeve with rare archival photos and liner notes on the band's legacy. Released through Wicked Cool Records for RSD Black Friday.
