The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Christmas Comes Alive! (2LP / Picture Disc)
Christmas Comes Alive! is a live holiday record and a rollicking hybrid of jump blues and rockabilly, with Brian Setzer leading his swinging big band through a set of seasonal favorites.
"Sleigh Ride" and "Winter Wonderland" jump, jive and wail, "'Zat You Santa Claus?" and "Run Rudolph Run" get the full rock and roll treatment, and Setzer even finds a way to fuse "Stray Cat Strut" with "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch."
Pressed as a double picture disc exclusively for RSD Black Friday.
