P.E.’s sophomore LP The Leather Lemon dives deep into fluorescent dance grooves, mutant club rhythms, and warped pop experiments. Building on the jagged foundation of their debut Person, the NYC collective—featuring members of Pill and Eaters—deliver a sleek, sensual, and surreal listen. With Veronica Torres' vocals expanding from snarls to siren-like melodies, Benjamin Jaffe's sax flourishes, and a fearless production ethos, this record lands somewhere between electronic composition, experimental rock, and a sweaty late-night dancefloor. A weird, wild, and wonderful evolution for one of the city’s most inventive bands.
