Along with Anthrax and Nuclear Assault, Overkill helped define East Coast thrash, and their punk-fueled, Motörhead-inspired attack earned them a reputation as one of the genre's most relentless working bands. Immortalis, originally released in 2007, was their fourteenth studio album and a reminder that they had no intention of slowing down.
The record is pure power thrash, rapid and unapologetic, with Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth's unmistakable snarl riding on top of D.D. Verni's thundering bass. "Devils in the Mist," "Skull and Bones" and "Walk Through Fire" hit with the urgency of a band half its age, and "Overkill V... The Brand" continues one of the longest-running song series in metal.
Long out of print on vinyl and in demand among thrash collectors, it is finally available again.
This limited edition is pressed on marble vinyl.
