Linkin Park - Living Things [Red & Smoke]

After the sprawling concept record A Thousand Suns, Linkin Park came back tighter and more direct. Living Things, their fifth studio album, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in June 2012 with 223,000 copies sold in its first week, and has since gone platinum in the United States.

Produced by Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin, in what would be Rubin's last album with the band, Living Things deliberately pulls from every era of the group: the electronic textures of their recent work, the hard rock punch of Minutes to Midnight and the rap-rock attack of their early records. “Burn It Down,” “Lost in the Echo” and “Castle of Glass” became staples, and “Until It Breaks” hands the mic to guitarist Brad Delson.

Twelve songs in under 37 minutes, it is one of the band's leanest and most song-focused records, and a vital chapter in Chester Bennington's later work with the group.

This limited edition presents Living Things on red and smoke colored vinyl. Out November 20, 2026 on Warner Records.
