Lilys - Eccsame The Photon Band

Originally released in 1994, Eccsame The Photon Band is the "etheric" second full-length album from the American indie-rock outfit Lilys. Led by the "notoriously nomadic" Kurt Heasley, the album saw the band shift from the dense, shoegaze-heavy walls of their debut into a "spartan, spaced-out" territory that many critics consider their finest hour. This 21st Anniversary Edition from Frontier Records marks the first time in over 20 years that this "highly sought-after" record has been available on vinyl. The release features original artwork and a "vibrant and brilliant" remastering that enhances the dynamic range. Notably, the tracklist was strategically reordered—moving "The Hermit Crab" to the start of Side B—to allow for a "deeper cut" of Side A, significantly increasing the audio fidelity and providing a "more exciting listening experience" than the rare 1994 original.
