Lande Hekt - Going To Hell [Pink]

Released in 2021 via Get Better Records, Going to Hell is the debut solo album from Lande Hekt, known as the frontwoman of the Exeter-based punk trio Muncie Girls. While her work with the band often tackled external socio-political issues, this solo effort turns the lens inward. Written during Hekt’s coming-out period, the record is a deeply personal diary of transformation, wrestling with the "jolts of disbelief" and self-doubt that often accompany a major life shift.

Sonically, the album trades the fast-paced punk of Muncie Girls for a more contemplative, indie-leaning sound that draws comparisons to The Replacements and The Beths.
