Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley

Released in 1994, Welcome to Sky Valley is the third studio album from Kyuss and, for many, the pinnacle of stoner rock. Originally sequenced into three continuous "movements" and famously stickered with the instruction "listen without distraction," it's an immersive, hypnotic journey through the fuzzed-out, sun-scorched sound the Palm Desert band pioneered.

Home to enduring classics like "Gardenia," "Demon Cleaner," and "Space Cadet," the album pairs Josh Homme's massive, low-slung riffs with John Garcia's soulful roar and Brant Bjork's deep-pocket grooves. Its influence on desert rock, doom, and heavy psych is impossible to overstate.
