Joan Jett & The Blackhearts - I Love Rock 'N Roll: The Shadow Album (LP)
Lost for decades and recently unearthed, The Shadow Album captures the first version of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts' I Love Rock 'N Roll, recorded in 1980. These aren't rough demos but fully realized alternate versions of the songs that would soon change everything.
It includes the original recordings of "Crimson and Clover" and "Little Drummer Boy," plus "Bits and Pieces," "Victim of Circumstance" and the title track. More than 45 years later, it's a rare look at the band on the brink.
I Love Rock 'N Roll remains Joan Jett and the Blackhearts' most celebrated album. This RSD Black Friday variant includes an exclusive bonus track.
