Hudson Westbrook's rise has been fast by any standard. "House Again" began as a promotional single, racked up more than 45 million Spotify streams and landed him a record deal, and his debut album Texas Forever reached number 10 on the Top Country Albums chart. Made You Look is the follow-up, a sprawling sixteen-song statement from a young Texan with no interest in slowing down.
Westbrook has a writing credit on every song here, working with collaborators including Lukas Scott, Neil Medley, Beau Bailey, Dan Alley, Ryan Beaver and Reid Haughton. He describes the record as a reflection of the last two years of his life, and it extends the direct storytelling and modern Texas country sound that made his name. "The Joker," "Hits Me," "Backwards" and the title track all previewed the album, while "Hey Dallas" and the closing "Texas Tear" keep his home state close to the heart of things.
Released through River House Artists and Warner Records Nashville, it's the sound of a rising star leaning into exactly what got him here, with a broader canvas to work on.
This edition presents the full album as a double LP on white vinyl.
