The story of Seattle’s rise to global rock supremacy begins with Green River. Formed in 1984, the quintet—featuring future members of Pearl Jam (Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard) and Mudhoney (Mark Arm, Steve Turner)—crafted a sound that straddled the line between bluesy rock, punk, and "glam-sludge." For years, their seminal output was only available on a combined CD or long-out-of-print vinyl. Now, Sub Pop Records has restored these slices of music history, meticulously remastered and bolstered by long-lost archival finds.

Dry As A Bone (Deluxe Edition) Recorded at Jack Endino’s Reciprocal Recording in 1986, this mini-LP captures the band in furious, jagged form. This deluxe reissue includes the band's tracks from the legendary Deep Six compilation, alongside "lost" songs recently recovered from the archaic Betamax tape format.

Rehab Doll (Deluxe Edition) Their 1988 swan song, recorded largely at Steve Lawson Studios, bridges the gap between punk’s taut energy and the "big drum" stadium sound that would soon define the 90s. This edition features an 8-track version of "Swallow My Pride" that drummer Alex Shumway claims is the most accurate depiction of the band's true live power.
