Gracie Abrams - Good Riddance [Deluxe Edition]

Gracie Abrams spent years releasing bedroom recordings that felt like they were never meant to leave the bedroom. Good Riddance, her debut studio album from February 2023, is where that intimacy met real production muscle. Aaron Dessner of The National produced and co-wrote the record at his Long Pond studio, and his fingerprints are everywhere: the muted pianos, the guitars that sit just behind the beat, the space he leaves around a vocal.

What Abrams brings is nerve. "Where Do We Go Now?" and "I Know It Won't Work" catalog the small humiliations of a relationship coming apart with a precision that borders on uncomfortable. "Amelie" is barely there, two minutes of half-remembered longing. "Difficult" and "Block Me Out" push harder, letting the frustration surface. Across the whole record she writes like someone reading you her notes app and daring you to look away.

The album debuted in the top ten of the Billboard 200 and set up the touring run that took her from clubs to stadium support slots. It remains the clearest document of the sound she built her audience on.
