This 2011 release marks the highly anticipated return of Americana singer-songwriter Gillian Welch, her first album in eight years. The Harrow & The Harvest is an all-acoustic collection featuring 10 new songs, produced by long-time collaborator David Rawlings and recorded at Woodland Sound Studios in Nashville, TN.

Mastered directly from the original tapes using custom Ortofon amplifiers and a Neumann VMS-80 cutting system, the album is plated and pressed on standard-weight, audiophile-quality vinyl at Quality Record Pressings. The result is a warm, intimate sound that captures the subtle nuances of Welch and Rawlings’ intricate performances.
