Twenty years into his career, George Strait made it all sound effortless, and It Just Comes Natural wears that ease right in its title. Released in 2006, it is a showcase for his command of traditional country, honky-tonk and polished contemporary Nashville production, all delivered with the calm authority that has made him the King of Country.
Strait co-produced the album with longtime collaborator Tony Brown, and across fifteen tracks the songwriting rarely lets up. "Give It Away" became one of the most beloved hits of his later career, a heartbreak ballad told with a wry half-smile, and the title track joined it at number one. "Wrapped" and "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls" round out a record that moves easily from tender to rowdy.
The album went platinum and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Country Album, another cornerstone in one of the most consistent catalogs in American music.
This edition presents all fifteen tracks on a single LP.
