Dinosaur Jr. - Bouncing Off The Walls: The Green Mind Tour 1991

In 1991, Green Mind took Dinosaur Jr to a major label and onto much bigger stages. The tour that followed carried J Mascis and company across the United States and Europe just as grunge broke and the American underground started spreading around the world. Bouncing Off The Walls captures that year live.

The set draws highlights from four shows: Boston, Santa Cruz, Mezzago in Italy and London. "The Wagon" and "Thumb" from Green Mind sit next to older favorites like "Freak Scene," "The Lung" and "Severed Lips," plus a medley of "Blowin' It" and "I Live For That Look." Every recording has been restored, edited and remastered, and the band sounds exactly as you would hope: very loud and very much in its prime.

It is the latest release in Cherry Red's ongoing series exploring the band's Sire Records years, and an easy recommendation for fans who caught them on this tour or wish they had.

This vinyl edition presents a single-LP selection of the live recordings.
