Bill Withers - Bill Withers In Concert: Live at the BBC, 1974 (LP)
Bill Withers was one of the great American songwriters, and this 1974 performance for the BBC's In Concert series shows him at his finest: intimate, stripped back and completely magnetic.
The set draws on his first two landmark albums, Just As I Am and Still Bill, and features raw live renditions of "Ain't No Sunshine," "Lean On Me," "Grandma's Hands" and "Use Me." Hearing these songs in such a close, unvarnished setting is a reminder of how much warmth and soul he carried in his voice.
This vinyl edition marks the recording's first-ever physical release, exclusive to RSD Black Friday.
