The release where it all clicked into place. Originally recorded in 1992 with Tim Green of Nation of Ulysses at The Embassy, a group-house in Washington DC, Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah was Bikini Kill's second EP and the record that introduced the world to "Rebel Girl," one of the most electrifying and enduring punk anthems ever written.
Originally released as a split EP with Brighton UK band Huggy Bear, this reissue stands on its own as a fully realized Bikini Kill release. The b-side has been expanded to include seven previously unreleased songs drawn from era-appropriate live shows and practice tapes, offering an intimate and thrilling glimpse into the band at their most raw and immediate. The artwork has been completely updated with archival photos and new liner notes from Bratmobile's Erin Smith, Comet Gain's David Feck, and the members of Bikini Kill themselves, making this the most complete and lovingly assembled version of the EP to date.
Pressed on translucent magenta vinyl, this is an essential piece of punk history presented with all the care it deserves.
