Debí Tirar Más Fotos is Bad Bunny's most personal and rooted album, a love letter to Puerto Rico that turned inward and became a global phenomenon anyway. Released at the start of 2025, it finds the world's biggest artist trading arena-sized bravado for memory, place, and the quiet fear of watching home change around you.

Musically, it is the deepest he has dug into the island's own traditions. Reggaeton and trap still anchor the record, but they share space with salsa, plena, bomba, and jíbaro folk, woven together with real care. "Nuevayol" and "Baile Inolvidable" bring the anthems, "Café Con Ron" leans into sweaty, communal plena, and the wistful "Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii" turns into a pointed meditation on displacement, gentrification, and Puerto Rican identity. The album topped the Billboard 200 and gave Bad Bunny his ninth consecutive number one on the Top Latin Albums chart, a remarkable feat for a mostly Spanish-language record so tied to a specific place.
