Moon Safari is the 1998 debut album from French postmodernist duo Air, a lush blend of retro pop, Krautrock inspired electronics, 1960s lounge, and smooth downtempo textures. Nicolas Godin and J.B. Dunckel pull from every corner of classic pop to build a warm, dreamy sound that feels nostalgic and futuristic at the same time.

The album earned widespread critical acclaim and launched Air to the forefront of modern electronic pop. All tracks were written by Godin and Dunckel, with Beth Hirsch providing standout vocal features on All I Need and You Make It Easy. Additional contributions come from Patrick Woodcock on Ce Matin La and electronic music pioneer Jean Jacques Perrey on Remember.
