13th Floor Elevators - The Mono Singles (LP)

Sixty years ago in Austin, Texas, the 13th Floor Elevators helped invent psychedelic rock. Their influence can be heard in R.E.M., Julian Cope, Neil Young, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream and countless others.

This anniversary release collects all seven genre-defining singles released between May 1966 and January 1969, A-sides and B-sides in chronological order and mastered in mono, from "You're Gonna Miss Me" to "Slip Inside This House" and "Livin' On."

A world first, dressed in specially commissioned artwork paying homage to the Elevators' legacy, for RSD Black Friday.
