Wheelchair Sports Camp have never been easy to categorize, and Oh Imperfecta! makes no effort to change that. Fronted by Kalyn Rose Heffernan, a profanely queer rapper from Denver with a razor-sharp wit and a high-pitched delivery entirely her own, the band combines inventive beats with the kind of fearless creative energy that spills well beyond music into performance art, theater, film, prison tours, museum takeovers, and political activism.

Released on Alternative Tentacles Records, Oh Imperfecta! is eleven bangers deep and loaded with an extraordinary cast of collaborators. Jello Biafra appears twice, and his appearance alongside Radio Pete marks a genuinely historic moment -- Pete, who famously came up with the name Dead Kennedys when Biafra was a teenager in Boulder, CO, collaborates with him musically here for the very first time. Kimya Dawson of the Moldy Peaches, journalist and broadcaster Amy Goodman, Olivia Jean, Junia-T, and RAREBYRD$ all contribute, alongside a roster of honorary WSC members who help push the album in directions few hip-hop records dare to go.
