Joined by bassist Steve Rodby, drummer Wilbur Campbell, and special guest saxophonist Sonny Stitt on two tracks, the performance showcases Waldron’s enigmatic style and the ensemble’s dynamic interplay.

This Record Store Day 2026 exclusive comes as a limited-edition 180-gram 2-LP set, mastered from the original tapes by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab and pressed at Quebec’s boutique Le Vinylist. The deluxe package includes newly curated liner notes by Howard Mandel, plus interviews with pianist Lafayette Gilchrist, Joe Segal’s son Wayne Segal, and more, offering a comprehensive look at a singular moment in jazz history.
