Conceived in the "waking sleep" of 4 AM, Inverno (Italian for "winter") is the second full-length dispatch from Lupo Città. While their debut was defined by a melodic, world-weary energy, this sophomore effort finds the trio—Sarah Black, Chris Brokaw, and Jenn Gori—taking a defiant risk. Born from the hard transition out of post-COVID lockdown, the album captures the stark contrast between the quiet safety of isolation and the escalating social chaos of the outside world.
