Fugazi - 7 Songs

7 Songs is Fugazi's debut release, issued in 1988 and capturing the earliest fully formed version of the band that would soon redefine independent music. These tracks introduce the unmistakable chemistry between the members, pairing tightly wound rhythms with vivid vocals and a sharp sense of melodic tension. Urgent, inventive, and remarkably focused for a debut, 7 Songs lays the groundwork for everything that followed. The recordings were later collected with the Margin Walker EP to form the 13 Songs LP, but this original release remains a landmark in its own right.
