English Teacher - This Could Be Texas

The debut album by Leeds frontrunners English Teacher, titled ‘This Could Be Texas’ is out now. This album has been popping up on Best of 2024 lists everywhere so I had to check it out!

Lead singer Lily Fontaine explains, “I want this album to feel like you’ve gone to space, and it turns out its almost identical to Doncaster. It’s about in-betweens, it’s about home, and it’s about Desire Paths."

There are two variants available. Both are UK imports. The Galaxy Gold Marble variant also comes with a bonus CD titled The Pool Sessions with 5 extra tracks.  The Milky White Transparent variant is limited edition and comes with a special die-cut sleeve.
